Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026. Applies to this website (plumgrovepd.com), the secure signing site (sign.plumgrovepd.com), and the department’s PDOne text messages and emails.

This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts or services; its fonts, images and code are all served from this site. It does not ask for or store personal information. Like any web server, the hosting provider may briefly record technical request data (such as IP address and time) to operate and protect the service.
Online requests
Online request forms (for example, house watch, tips or records requests) are not yet available. Before any is added, this policy will be updated to describe what it collects, why, and how it is protected.
PDOne messages (department staff and designated city officials only)
- Mobile number and email address of staff and designated city officials who agreed to receive PDOne messages — used only to send Emergency Alerts, secure signing links and occasional test messages.
- Location — only when a staff member triggers an Emergency Alert, one reading of their device’s location is sent with the alert so responders can find them. PDOne does not track anyone’s location at any other time.
Secure signing links
A signing link opens one specific timesheet for one specific person and works once. The signature drawn on that page is recorded on that timesheet only. The link’s code is removed from the browser’s address bar as soon as the page opens, and the page sends no referrer information.
What we never do
Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell personal information. Messages are delivered through a text-message service and an email service that act only on our instructions to deliver them.
How information is protected
Information is kept in the department’s access-controlled systems. Only authorized personnel can see it; phone numbers appear masked on screens. Messages and signatures are recorded in an audit trail. No criminal justice information is published on this website or the signing site.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any PDOne text message to stop texts, or ask the Chief of Police to remove you from the list. Records required by law or policy (for example, signed timesheets) are kept as required. Public records requests are handled under applicable law.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with its effective date.
